The Kelowna Accessibility Leadership Awards Society (KALAS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to celebrating and advancing accessibility in our community. We are a committee of 5, that came together through our work on the City of Kelowna’s Accessibility Advisory Committee.
Through annual awards, we recognize individuals and organizations that are removing barriers, promoting inclusion, and creating a more accessible Kelowna for people with disabilities.
Our inaugural awards event will be held on May 27, 2027, in recognition of National AccessAbility Week, bringing the community together to honour those making a meaningful difference.
Together, we’re building a more accessible and inclusive Kelowna for all.
